SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL SERVICES ARCOBALENO cooperative
Cooperativa Sociale Arcobaleno's care project addresses the social, work, and daily life needs of people experiencing various forms of vulnerability and social hardship.
The Cooperative, in collaboration with local social and health services, is committed to supporting and promoting people's well-being by offering various workshops that are functionally linked to the production process.
Artistic ceramics and mosaic
In this workshop, people can actively experiment with the various techniques involved in artistic ceramics in all its phases (modeling, drying, firing, and decoration) under the expert guidance of ceramists trained at the Faenza school and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Ceramics becomes an educational tool for expressing creativity and exploring specific timeframes, materials, and techniques. Each participant can contribute based on their skills, contributing to the finished product through their shared work.
Wefts and Embroidery
This space is dedicated to the art of embroidery and weaving, an ancient tradition that is renewed here with creativity and passion. Through this experience, you can immerse yourself in the world of sewing, knitting, and embroidery, and create various textile products such as bags, hats, bonnets, scarves, blankets, and custom projects. You can also try your hand at weaving on a frame loom.
The “weaves and embroidery” workshop is always open to new ideas and lends itself to intergenerational and socially oriented projects.
Assemblies and packaging
This activity allows us to engage people who benefit from repetition and a strong structure in their work sequences. Cooperativa Arcobaleno works on behalf of third parties to create various assemblies. Our partners include: Roto Srl, Cooperativa Sociale Pictor, and Associazione CEFA.
Catering and Fresh Pasta
The courses take place at the Oasi la Rizza Restaurant and focus primarily on kitchen preparation, fresh pasta making, bread making, and biscuit making. Participants also have the opportunity to acquire basic service skills and gain hands-on experience during lunches and events. This experience provides a first introduction to the world of catering through personalized courses tailored to each participant's abilities.
Hostel B&B
The Ostello B&B Oasi la Rizza offers guests a first taste of the world of hospitality, taking care of tasks such as tidying and cleaning, arranging the common room, and preparing breakfast for guests.
Green maintenance and horticulture
The Oasis' maintenance activities include maintaining the greenery, collecting leaves, clearing weeds, and caring for the animals. Next to the restaurant is a vegetable garden consisting of open-field crops and crops grown in large, ergonomic wooden crates.
This space is not just a vegetable production area, but an educational laboratory where you can learn how to grow vegetables and herbs following the principles of organic farming.
The harvested products enrich the restaurant's dishes, creating a direct link between the land and the table.

located in a work context
For those receiving Social Services for Disabilities, Arcobaleno offers programs at a Social and Occupational Center. The service's goal is to promote personal independence and active participation in the social life of people with disabilities through productive activities, compatible with each individual's abilities and skills, in a protected work environment and with the support of educators and professionals experienced in various skills (artistic ceramic production, textile loom production, assembly, and subcontracting). Each personalized project is implemented in consultation with the referring services, the individual, and, where appropriate, the family.
Goals:
Offer qualified assistance to each individual user, through targeted and personalized interventions, aimed at improving independence and skills (practical, cognitive, relational), contributing to psychophysical well-being and self-esteem;
